Seniors deserve the ability to choose to remain in their homes. Relocation, specifically to an assisted living or nursing home, can provide a significant amount of physical and emotional stress. Often comforts such as furniture and objects are discarded as the senior is forced to reduce their possessions to a significantly smaller space than their homes.
Safety is our number 1 priority for our aging seniors. Silver Sitters provides only the care you or your loved one needs. As the client declines Silver Sitters will modify the Client Centered Care Plan to accommodate for changes in condition. Early care for senior safety can include bath visits or assistance with grocery shopping and errands. Signing up for care in the early stages of decline can reduce the risk of falls and significant and potentially fatal health problems such as fractures and brain injuries.
The cost of senior living communities is expensive. Gradually introducing private duty services with Silver Sitters will reduce falls and prolong total dependence on care. Promoting independence will sustain the client’s savings for a longer period of time. Silver Sitters can provide clients assistance with their long term care and veterans benefits to supplement costs of home care.
